Students get 16 live classes each month. Classes are with the same tutor, at the same time Monday to Thursday. Every class is also recorded.

How It Works
No Travel
Our online classes means no travelling after school! Whether you’re from Bantry or Kanturk, so much time is wasted getting to and from grinds. With Breakthrough Maths, you can do the class from the comfort of home.
Testing
We focus on testing, not lecturing. It’s all about active practice in class. It allows us to measure tangible outcomes for each student.

Diarmuid
Diarmuid has been teaching Maths with us for over 3 years. He achieved 590 points in his own Leaving Cert and studied Maths Science in UCC. He’s clear, speaks slowly, and brings a sense of fun to his lessons. He’s our 6th year Maths tutor.

Our grinds are group grinds.
However, the student can only see the teacher. They interact only with the teacher. The teacher will talk to them frequently, both in the class and in the chat. It helps to keep it focussed.
Don’t worry, our tutors are well-equipped to teach children of all learning abilities and levels.
We’ve been teaching for years now and have dealt with hundreds of kids with learning difficulties. We take our time with them and make sure they get the extra attention that they need.

Students also have free access to our Christmas, Easter and ‘Night Before Exams’ Masterclasses.
Our classes run for about 45 – 60 mins.
They’re students at the end of the day and school is already long enough, so we don’t expect them to focus for more than that length of time.
Yes, we do follow the Irish school curriculum. Most schools do the same topic at the same time of the year. We match that teaching plan.
What’s unique about our system is the fact that we offer unlimited classes each week. Each week we will be teaching two different topics. So you have choice in what you would like to study.
Yes, each class is recorded too. Access to recordings is sent out at the end of the week to our students.
