Course Details
Our Mock Exam Course is for 3rd and 6th years preparing for the Maths Mock Exam. Diarmuid teaches our 6th year course while Eoin will teach our 3rd year course. Your child will receive 16 Maths grinds over the month of January. Classes are fully focussed on exam questions and technique. We will also run through the likely questions on the Mock exams.
All students signed up to our Mock Exam course will receive access to our 2-hour ‘Night Before Mocks’ Masterclass on Sunday, Jan 25th. This session is worth €39 alone. Participants on our Mocks course will get free access to this Masterclass.
The course is €149 and that includes 6 months access to the recording after. It’s brilliant for study!

Diarmuid
Diarmuid is a Cork man. He has been teaching Maths for over 3 years with us. He also achieved 613 points in his own Leaving Cert and studied Finance in UCC. He’s clear, speaks slowly, and brings a sense of fun to his lessons.
Eoin
Affectionately known as the ‘Goat’, Eoin is in his final year in Maths and Physics in UCC. He has super energy and enthusiasm. He’s clear and explains topics simply. He is teaching our 3rd Year course.
‘Night Before’ Masterclass
Breakthrough Maths is famous for our ‘Night Before’ Masterclasses. These are intense 2-hour Masterclasses, just before the exams begin. The Mock Masterclass takes place on Sunday, Janauary 25th.
Students signed up to our 30-Day Mock Exam Course will have free access to this Masterclass (Worth €39).

These are the key topics on their exams. We will do some guided practice on these questions. Diarmuid will walk through the exam technique needed to achieve top marks in their exams.
The same curriculum is used in our Ordinary Level Exam Course also.

Our classes are taught in groups.
The student can only see the teacher. They interact only with the teacher. It’s not awkward. Students can get down to concentrating on their work. The teacher answers questions throughout the class.

The goal of the Mock Exam Course is to get students ready either for the Mocks. It’s all exam focussed. At the end of the session, we will cover tips on exam technique. It’s usually one of the more complex topics, so it’s like additional focussed revision.
Yes, the Mock Exam Course classes are recorded and the links to the recordings are sent out via email. The student has access to the recordings for 6 months.
