Our Tutor
Hannah
Hannah is studying Financial Maths in UCC. She’s originally from Ennis, Co. Clare. That engagement and sense of fun is key to her teaching style. She’s clear, speaks slowly, and is a breath of fresh air in class. We’re delighted to have her on board for 4th class.
Structure
For 4th Class Maths, we focus on building confidence and strengthening core skills such as multiplication, division, fractions and problem-solving.
Our programme covers 2 different Maths topics each week. On Monday and Tuesday it’s the same topic; Wednesday and Thursday it’s a different topic.
Classes are taught by Hannah, at the same time every single week, helping students make steady progress.
Kahoot Testing
At the end of every class we do a Kahoot Quiz to test the kids on what they’ve learned in the lesson.
It’s fun for the 4th Class kids and motivates them to pay attention in class. It also helps students get comfortable with tests.

x4 Weekly Maths Grinds
Each week Breakthrough Maths students have access to 4 live, online classes.
We cover one topic on Monday and Tuesday and another topic on Wednesday and Thursday.
Class is with the same tutor, at the same time each week. All classes are recorded and sent to students every Sunday.

FAQ’s
Our grinds are taught in groups.
The student can see and interact with only with the tutor. Your child can ask questions any time in the chat portal, and the tutor will address them throughout class.
We offer the flexibility to access any class each week. Each week we will be teaching two different topics, so your child has a choice in when they want to attend.
Our 4th class lessons run for about 60 mins.
They’re students at the end of the day and school is already long enough, so we don’t expect them to focus for more than that length of time.
We’ve been teaching for years now and have dealt with hundreds of kids with learning difficulties. Don’t worry, our tutors are well-equipped to teach children of all learning abilities and levels.
We take our time with them and make sure they get the extra attention that they need.
4th class grinds is €149 per month, and your child will have: 4 grinds per week + access to all recordings + access to all supplementary notes and resources.

Yes, we do follow the Irish school curriculum across 4th class to 6th class. Most schools do the same topic at the same time of the year. We match that teaching plan.
Yes, each class is recorded. Your child will receive access to our recordings folder upon enrolment. Every class is recorded and uploaded after the lesson. Rewatch classes anytime and catch up on anything they may have missed.
